 Happy February, Red Class! 😀 I hope you all had a good weekend, even though it didn't snow. I hope you are all ready for a fun week with a new topic. For the next few weeks, we are going to be looking at Space! 🌍 There are also a few different activities in this week too as its Children's Mental Health Awareness Week; Mr Staley has done an assembly for you all on the subject - click here! So, here are your sessions for today: Mon 1st Feb I look forward to seeing you on Zoom this morning, where we will be going through a few of the different activities that are available for you to work on throughout the week. These are: - Book Talk - there are different activities for you to do which we would normally do in our Literacy Sessions at school. These can be done any time over the week - Funky Fingers - choose 1 way to warm-up your fingers each day. We do our at school before the Morning Zoom, ready for our Phonics session - Rainbow Challenge - these will last two weeks. There ...

 Happy Friday Red Class 💜 I hope you have enjoyed your week! We have done so many wonderful things, and its so great to see all the work you have been doing 😍 Well, here's you last chance this week to show us your brilliant work: Friday 29th Jan Today, I have an additional job for you to do. Below you will see some photos of our new book corner (things have moved around a little), but our Book display is looking very empty 😢. It will be a display to show all the books we love in Red Class, some we have loved in our lessons, like Room on a Broom, but also the ones you have enjoyed at home.  Good Morning Red Class 🐃 Its half way through the week already, and we've already given out some certificates from me and Puzzle for excellent phonics work. Will there be any more this week? We are still looking for our Star of the Week too. Yesterday, one of the Maths link didn't work; sorry 😔. I enjoyed sharing our Book Talk story with you on Zoom, but  today we are back to our Show and Tell sessions, so see you at 9.20am Here are the sessions for today: Tues 26th Jan   (Maths video link has been corrected) Don't forget, you can also do the activities from our Book Talk and Funky Fingers activities from yesterday's blog. Today the teachers will be choosing the top three front covers for our class book, so tomorrow you will be able to use the link on here to vote for your favourite of these three!  Good Morning Red Class ⛄ I hope you managed to get outside and enjoy the flurry of snow we had at the weekend! It wasn't as much as we had after Christmas, but enough to build a snowman in. This week we are going to start our morning Zoom session a little differently; with our Book Talk story. It is by one of my favourite authors (what does that mean they do?), so don;t forget to join us at 9.20am!
