Monday 1st June

*Edited at 8.25am - 1.6.20* Hi Red Class,  I hope you all had a fabulous half-term in the gorgeous weather! I bet there were lots of ice-creams, playing in the paddling pool and picnicking in your gardens! 🍦🏊🌞 Before I add today's activities, here is a note for Mum's and Dad's: Please be aware that this term you will notice that the activities posted on the class blogs will be a little different from what you have been used to previously, for example, they may not always include an English and Maths lesson. This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home. This approach will enable teaching staff to manage providing the planning for both groups in a workable manner. This week, the school will foc

For when the Children are Struggling with Lockdown

Hi Red Class Parents, As we continue in lockdown, children can find it hard to understand why we are still doing it and how to deal with it, just as adults can. Here are a few stories that have been created to help children through this time: The Story of the Oyster and the Butterfly Coronavirus: A Book for Children The Book of Hopes Use these when, and if, you need them and if you find any other good resources, please let me know through the schools Admin account with the subject title 'FAO Mrs Prescott - Convid support' Many thanks, Mrs Prescott
