*Polling Day - Science Experiment* Thurs 6th May

 Good Morning Red Class! 👩👋


Today, the whole school will be taking part in the 'Rocket Mice' experiment. Here are the details of the experiment, but you can also watch this video which tells you what to do.


Now, I can't be with you to enjoy this experiment, so I'd like you to make me some videos instead. I'd like to see the following:

- a video or photo of you making your rocket mouse

- a video tell me what you think will happen BEFORE you actually do the experiment

- a video or photo of what happened to your rocket mouse

- a video of what you think you would do differently next time to make your rocket better

Please send your videos or photos to the class email address, classr@holyapostles.gloucs.sch.uk. You may need to send them separately as they will be quite big files.

Buenos Dias Red Class 🐳 Wow! How is it Thursday already? It's nearly the weekend already! Today I thought I'd add a link to a storyteller so that you can enjoy a story at the end of the day, just like we would do in Red Class. These are 'Stories by Nick' ; new stories are released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2pm, but there are loads already available for you to listen to. Here are today's suggested activities: Thursday 7th May I hope you enjoyed being a Scientist again today, and don't forget to put your photos onto ILD so I can see what you have been up to! This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home.
