  Happy Friday Red Class! 😀 We made it to the end of our first half term at school!! Well done, you have all worked so hard over the last 7 weeks and thank you parents for being so supportive.   Good Morning Red Class! 😃 Welcome to your first day of home learning. I am looking forward to seeing you ready for school on Zoom!  Below are your learning activities for the day. Learning Activities Parents - I know you all have your own jobs to do, let alone help me with mine, so please do what is right for your family and well-being. If you manage to have a go at the activities, that's brilliant. If you don't, do not worry. It would be lovely to see your children for the zoom sharing and story sessions so they feel part of the class, but again, just do what is manageable.  Please don't hesitate to contact me via the new 'classr@' email. I am more than happy to answer any questions. I would also love to see anything that your children get up to, whatever it is! Have fun! 😁 Miss Carter

 Good Morning Red Class! 👩👋 Today, the whole school will be taking part in the 'Rocket Mice' experiment. Here are the details of the experiment , but you can also watch  this video  which tells you what to do. Now, I can't be with you to enjoy this experiment, so I'd like you to make me some videos instead. I'd like to see the following: - a video or photo of you making your rocket mouse - a video tell me what you think will happen BEFORE you actually do the experiment - a video or photo of what happened to your rocket mouse - a video of what you think you would do differently next time to make your rocket better Please send your videos or photos to the class email address, classr@holyapostles.gloucs.sch.uk.   Hi Red Class We had great fun yesterday starting to plan our very own book! It is hard work, but at the end of it, we will all be authors! We will be finishing our books today and I can't wait to see how yours turns out! Today we are having our Collective Worship again at 11.10am, so we'll see you there!  Good Morning Red Class 🐞 I hope you enjoyed your Dinosaur activity yesterday; we found it really interesting at school!  Here are todays sessions: Tues 2nd Mar Your Literacy session today will be continuing on tomorrow as you are making your own book!  Happy 1st March Red Class 🌞🌼 This week we are continuing our work on Dinosaurs, although World Book Day will be taking over on Thursday, and I cannot wait to see your costumes! Today we also have an assembly by Open the Book; today's story is 'The King who Would Not Listen'. Here are the sessions for today: Mon 1st Mar Here is this weeks Funky Finger activities, but we do not have a new Book Talk for today; instead we will be doing our Book Talk activities as part of World Book Day on Thursday.  Which reminds me, if you haven't sent in your photo of your favourite book yet, please email it in to ClassR@ so that we can print it off and add it to the board....its starting to look great and it would be amazing to have it full for World Book Day!  Hi Red Class, We are now half way through the last week of term - hasn't it flown by! Well, today we are celebrating all our hard with with some Golden Time; check today's sessions for more details. We also have some exciting news from the PTA: Competition time! The school PTA has this week launched a virtual pet show, just for a bit of fun over the half term holidays. Don't worry if you don't have a pet though, you can still take part! The PTA are also very excited to announce that they have a celebrity head judge to help decide the overall 'best in show' - BBC Countryfile and Cotswold Farm Park's very own Adam Henson will be judging the final winner!
